Home Sleep Test
Cardinal Sleep offers an easy and reliable way to have your sleep study done from the comfort of your own home. We use a variety of home sleep testing devices that will be catered to your specific scenario. We network with board-certified sleep physicians who will provide an interpretation of your results within 7-10 days of receiving your home sleep testing system back. You will then be contacted for any further assistance, care, or equipment you may need from us. We are here to continuously support any monitoring or resupply needs that you may have and our experienced staff will take care of any questions or needs that may arise.
What is a home sleep test?
An at-home sleep study involves wearing a small device that measures and records your breathing, oxygen levels, heart rate, and other vitals while you sleep. It is specifically used to detect signs of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Cardinal Sleep offers the Zmachine Synergy, an at-home test that measures 9 different metrics while you sleep. It is one of the most thorough devices on the market for detecting OSA.
The Zmachine Synergy pictured above is minimally invasive to provide comfortable sleep. However, it is optimal in data recording to help our board-certified sleep physicians get an accurate portrayal of your sleep health.
How do I get a home sleep study?
Step 1: Complete the sleep study order form.
Please use the provided referral form attached for your primary care provider to fill out. Or you can have your primary care physician fax your referral form to 417-501-8843

Step 2: Get your home sleep test kit
You will be contacted to come in and receive your home sleep testing device. Or we can arrange to mail the home sleep testing device to you.
Step 3: Apply sensors and sleep comfortably in your home
Once the device is received, follow the simple, step-by-step instructions to complete your home sleep test.
Step 4: Remove sensors and return device
After completing your home sleep test, return the device to Cardinal Sleep LLC in-person or by mail. Then, a board-certified sleep physician will interpret the results within 7-10 business days.
Step 5: Get your results and discuss your treatment plan
We will personally contact you with your results and arrange for any further treatment at that time.
